I'd like to talk here about Google Base. I've read Shomoney's post on his blog as well as a few other articles on Google Base, but I feel that this an unexplored area that could bring much in return. So, one may post short articles and stories (like a blog), with a link to a website, that might appear in Google searches within an hour. The same with products (might show up in Froogle results). I suppose there aren't many people using this tool right now, but I might be wrong. Is there a way to find out actually how many people are looking for products, services or information through this service? Does anyone here have any experience with Google Base? Any stories or ideas? thanks!
Iam also new to this Google Base and i also saw the Interesting post of ShoeMoney of 10000$/Day. May be others Know more about this.
I doubt the $10k/day story is true. It just sounds way too good to be true. The main problem is traffic. Almost noone uses Google Base, so I find it hard to believe Shoemoney's friend is getting enough traffic to get 200 signups a day.
May be he's True cos 50% of web traffic searches for Porn & hence he may be getting 200Signup's Daily
That's a myth. A lot less searches are for porn, it's certainly not 50 percent but lots lots less. Anyway, to get 200 signups you will need a shitload of traffic. If 2% converts to a paid member (which is probably way too optimistic), you will need more than 10,000 visitors a day. I don't see how it's possible to earn that much with Google Base. Maybe it's possible to earn a small three digit figure but something like $10k/day sounds like bullshit.
One of my customers is doing well with http://base.google.com/base/search?a_n710=lakeside+property+wilkes+county+nc&a_y710=0&a_s710=0&a_r=1 which drives traffic to her sites. I contend the next step is for real estate agents to upload their entire listings to GB, augmenting or circumventing their local MLS.
