Google Base - anyone using it?

Okay - I still don't get Google Base. I log into my Google account, went over and looked at Google Base and tried to do a bulk upload. I thought Google Base was a way to submit any type of information, not just product information - am I wrong? The bulk upload requires Price, Description, Title and Link - but when manually entering data - none of those are required.

I am totally missing something here I think - can anyone who uses Google Base give me some insight on how they are using it?

 

Well, yes, but I've been having a bugger of a time getting exports to work lately.

 

Perhaps it is a technical issue for me also. Everything I uploaded was "Disapproved" - but I have no idea why.

 

Never used it. Any good?
