How long before it happens? It can't be that difficult for big G to have a look at the most poular forums and take action.
Just curious wasn't there a bid for stumble? And wasn't it by a big SE like Google or Yahoo? If so, If google owns stumble, they wouldnt ban their own affiliate/program.
Ebay owns stumble. http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070530/20070530006201.html And of course ebay and google are best buddies....
Why do people start thread that have no clue what the heck they are talking about. Why would Google ban it. It is not against any of their rules. The traffic is not automatic. Also as mentioned above, eBay owns Stumble Upon and Google would not piss them off.
I don't really understand what your question is. It looks like your asking how long will it be untill Google bans people from stumbling. Stumbleupon is a website people use to find interesting sites, google can not ban people from using the site.
Because it would be enough for your competitor, to burn your website by stumble is on some forums. You know?
Yes, it should be. But loads of the stumbles aren't exactly genuine vote are they? Just take a look in the freebies section on this forum. Stumble me, stumble you... and nobody gives a t0ss what the sites are about. The way I see it, it's not unlike the way people were rating people's directories on a directory rating site in exchange for inclusion in this or that directory. The owner of the directory rating site I'm thinking of soon got p1ssed off with it and put a stop to it.
I don't think stumbleupon has been taken over by spammers just yet. So most traffic is as genuine as it gets. Google has no reason to ban people over that - just means webmasters have good PR going - that's actually an indication that the website in question is actually interesting for human beings. It's more a sign of quality, than a sign of spamming.
