    Is that serious?

At first I was shocked, what with that being rather evil and all. But the more I thought about it (if its true) its quite a good way of proving what could happen if key people are in control of the Internet as opposed to true net neutrality.

    Scary..

Interesting. Imagine if you were an old enemy of one of the guys at Stanford. And then, years later found your "enemy" ran a Web site. Kinda makes you think who you butt heads with can haunt you later in life.

After reading one of the links to washingtonpost I feel Google should have sent more people that understands capitol hill and the politics. Even if one of the founders would go they should be well advised about the workings at Congress

Ditto to that. Just ask Bill Gates what happens when you ignore DC and just do your own thing in the US. Microsoft now spends millions on lobbying efforts and Google will eventually have to do the same thing or other companies with better financed "special interest" projects will get legislation passed which will negatively effect Google's bottom line. I certainly don't agree that a major company should have to do such things, but that's the world we live in right now.
