wow. this thread is very telling. I guess that means those of us that do read the entire threads, have a slight advantage of the majority of folks who, apparently, do not.
apparently there are lot of noobs who still didnt figure out why there are no results. good one micheal Hint: guys learn the difference between 0 results and 100 results.
Oh way more than "slight". Wait... wouldn't the members actually have to read beyond the first post to learn anything from it though...? I wonder how many posts beyond this one, which talks about how you should read the whole thread before replying, will someone hit reply after the first post? (no cheating anyone! ) -Michael
When i enter a keyword "make money online" in google i found there is 153000000 competion. you can see that http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=make+money+online
Someone stole my prank! They didn't even give me credit, and they made it too easy to see how it was done. http://sphinn.com/story/5749 The used Matt Cutts site though. It's still funny either way. Heh! -Michael
http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&safe=off&num=%30%30&q=make+money+online Code (markup): Number of results set to zero See "num" parameter is set twice... Second time to %30%30 Each %30 means Ascii character 48 Ascii chracter 48 is 0 ... So it actually says num=00 If I were the programmer at Google, I would probably also have coded it to use the last one of a duplicated parameter.
This is manipulating google URL. OLD as google. Try to go to google and search for make money online, you will see hoe many results there are. However clicking on this poster's link is different.
I wish I'd read this thread before, using =0 does give it away pretty quick. Then again, when Matt Cutts is the one who sees the trick right away I didn't have a fighting chance on keeping it going. I didn't self-sphinn however to do any promotion, just something I threw up there on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Good work Michael. You've got an IOU from me if you need it.
