Google Bans Blended Ads - MUST READ

Google has new adsense policies out here:

    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=48182&hl=en

It's important that you read these. The following blending practices are now classed as "encouraging clicks" and are banned:

    # Format ads so that they become indistinguishable from other content on that page.

    # Format site content so that it is difficult to distinguish it from ads.

Bullsheeeet. They will be fooling US and they will never drop one account that does that. I have personally reported almost one hundred misleading/cheater sites and just one (yeah thats 1) got adsense disable.

He didn't got banned, adsense team just disable ads in one of his sites.

This is pure bullsheeeet. Those fuckers keep using ads bellow titles, no content beside adsense ads and 3 lines of text + 2 pictures and THEY STILL MAKE CASH every single day.

Google keeps fooling US, serious publishers. Same time google adsense team keeps cheaters/scammers on safe side.

    Shameful.

Try to report some sites/blogs, keep urls in a txt file and check them one year later. Still there, arent they?

I see no where in the link provided that Google bans blended ads. That's an incorrect statement.

It does say you should not encourage users to click on ads and everything else you mentioned.

Don't blend your ads into your content in that way.
It's misleading to the reader. That's all it means.

Again, this rule has been around forever now. That's why,
every time I see something like the screen shot above, I laugh.

By the way, just purchased Joel Comm's book. It sucks.

I read the whole thing there is nothing said about blending ads. If this was true google would ban 99% of websites then where will google make there money.

Guess you have to read again.

IF you want to blend ads till perfection, just do it. BUT don't tell me you can't read it.

"ads may not be formatted in a way that makes them indistinguishable from other content on the page where they appear."

The key word there is indistinguishable

You said it right my friend! That was the wordings on the TOS. "indistinguishable" from the content. Blend it provided it is distinguishable from your content.

The question is now is all their ads are marked "Google Ads"!
How can this be Not Distinguishable?

    Thanks

Ads are generally clearly labled "Ads by Google", so how can they not be distinguishable?

If they want to ban 90% of the sites using adsense, then they should go ahead. see their revenue drop.
