    The advertisements on Youtube are essentially pop-ups. They may not pop another window, but they do the meaningful content if not play an obtrusive ad before you can even watch the video.

    Google is trying to drive more publishers to their own crappy text link service.

    When you are talking about a 16 paragraph article, it's basically one every three paragraphs. We've never had anyone say anything because the ads (ironically) serve as a break in the wall of text that is the articles.

    Fun Fact: Our adblock percentage is 6.8, so roughly a quarter of the web average. We must be doing something right.
