I Have heard that google is banning websites that are using orkut word in their domain name,IS THIS TRUE?? Do anybody know about the google policy regarding this concept.....
I have just heard this from my friend running orkutcodes.com,i too have website on orkut,so wanna know that is it really true or just fake news...... my f'nd have created a new website of different name due to this concern!

Google Brand Features include Google logos, product screenshots, or other distinctive features Additionally, publishers may not place Google ads on sites incorporating Google trademarks in the site URL or on sites that frame Google pages, including search results pages. am not saying google will ban from there search engine they ban from adsense ... but ... i saw some bad experience in there search engine also... somtimes thease sites are not seen in google search engine too.. dont knw is this true...
well there's no problem in search engine,its just in adsense........Google will ban u sooner or later.
ya lot of people got this prob and they will stop ad serving to those sites .. but one thing i found is ... if we not edit any ad settings or not change the ad code then ads are not disappearing ... cause in one of my site i change some settings and ads gone ... i saw in some other site that they not change the settings and ads are there without any prob ..
i think they ban when u start to earn a lot from that site ... better find another domain now itself and do a 301 redirect
