ok, "sandboxed" is not the best word to use, as that is usually a specific term used for new sites that are artificially held down in the serps until they prove themselves a better word to use would be "penalized", and the trouble with penalized sites is sometimes google is stubborn and a site seems to have a bit of a penalty on it for a long time many people prefer to start all over with a brand new domain rather than work on a domain that has been penalized, I know I have seen brand new domains I started on start to outrank a 3 year old site that was penalized for no good reason google is hard to predict sometimes, and can be alot of pain because often the innocent person or site can get no love from google for reasons that they don't deserve
well i noticed something odd..... google "online scams uncovered" there is another site with the exact same domain name PR1? yet different content, and seams like totally a different site? not sure what is going on but it might have something to do with your problem..
Nothing wrong with the site maybe the owner dropped a few paids links, or dropped links from his own sites. Slight drop in serps would be expected. Just build some more links and carry on
As long as saw in my FF browser, your site is not banned from google. 2 of your pages is still indexing.
If you think you're in trouble the first thing you want to do obviously is do a search on the URL to make sure you are indexed - pass. The next thing is to do a search on your page title - pass with #1 ranking. Other than that you may see some variation in your keyword rank whenever you make changes to a site and that's fairly normal. Right now I'm in the level 2 doghouse from changing my homepage. Google still likes my site and is now ranking some interior pages for some keywords almost as high as my homepage got although my homepage has fallen off the face of the earth again. It will come back though eventually and stronger than ever I might add. You're not even in this boat so I wouldn't worry about it. I want to try to avoid this myself and although it couldn't really be avoided this time plus I threw in some other things to try to better figure out how this stuff works. Among other things there are some changes you can make that Google doesn't mind and some that do. I don't want to go into too much detail here to spill my guts too much but in your case the thing to do is just chill, monitor your keyword ranking every day and try to sort of lay low until you're back to where you think you should be with the keywords you're shooting for.
