Google Banned. Should I start fresh?

Discussion in 'Search Engine Optimization' started by greenmachine, Jun 12, 2013.

My site was Google banned a while back. I want to get it listed again on Google. Should I just get rid of everything on the site and start again? should I transfer the domain to another name? Are there any services that work to get you un-banned?

    Any help would be fantastic.

Is it de-indexed from the Google? IF yes, then you have to forget about your website. My experience tells that de-indexed websites never came up.

    There's really only two options:

    1. Register your site with Google Webmaster Tools and try to submit your site for reconsideration (http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=40052).

No idea how long this process takes, but I imagine it takes quite a while.

    2. Forget about this site, start a new site under a new domain name and transfer your content over to the new site.

There are 2 steps ways for re-inclusion on Google.

    1. Reconsideration request to Google. You can explain what factors you changed/resolved on your website and request for re-inclusions.
    2. Submit in Google Webmasters and Fetch in Google if not indexed or crawled.

I suggest you to build a new site, concentrate on start promoting it. Avoid things which have lead to penalization.

You have to work double hard for bringing your banned site back on Google, hence it is better to go with new one.

Or, if you don't want to get rid of all the information on your site you may consider to use some tool or web service to find and remove all the bad links that harmed in a way your site. There are few of them such as linkdelete.com or removebadlinks.com. However, I would recommend you linkquidator.com for this service is kind of a new one and looks like much more improved and the even offer 1 month free trial.
But, as I mentioned, this solution is useful if you want to keep your information on site.
So, it's up to you. Cheers! :)

Really not sure why everyone in this thread keeps telling you to remove your backlinks when they have no idea what your site is or what sites are linking to you.

    Bad advice is bad.

Starting fresh work is recommended by me.

Once a site is banned, it takes lots of effort, time and energy to recover and there is no guarantee as well.

new domain like others told you. Blackhat techniques are almost useless nowadays because 99% of ppl don't know how to do that. They just copy/paste systems or use programs to blast everything out of the hell. old school is dead. there is still ppl who use scrapebox, crazy isn't it? new techniques arrived. Be smart, don't waste time and money...

Firstly, why was your site banned? Do you have the exact notification from Google Webmaster Tools? No one can offer you credible advice without knowing why your site was banned.
