I was wondering how to check if a site is Google banned. I tried about 6 tools online but all give me mixed results.

    Thanks in advance.

If the pages in the site have no toolbar page rank and there are no pages in the Google index, the site is likely banned.

A site is banned by G is it has illegal content: selling cocaine or heroin for example, or pedophile site or Nazi site...stuff like that.
There is a difference between to be banned and not showing on G.

if there is no index , this means your site is so new or your site is banned

Wtf are you talking about? G bans sites all the time that have purely legal content on them.

You cannot add someone elses domain to WC, how is he supposed to do that?

If the domain is less than a few months old then it is impossible to know whether or not it is banned. However, banning in and of itself is not an end all be all of a domains worth (although by just not being indexed it does increase your bargaining power, as the buyer, by quite a bit). Check Archive.org and see if the domain has a history, and if so, how much of one. You can always buy the domain, add it to Google Webmaster Central, and do a reinclusion request, letting them know that you purchased it recently.

Take it easy. Did you get banned yourself?
Do you know any website with legal content which got banned from G?

He could do that as part of the negotiation by asking the seller to allow him to validate the domain name inside his google webmaster account. Once that is done, many questions regarding the discussed domain would be answered.

Big confusion here, to check if a site is banned by G:
    1. site:www.yourdomain.com or info:www.yourdomain.com
    2. link:www.yourdomain.com
if for point 1 and 2 no results and pr toolbar is greyed not zero i mean greyed probably the site is banned.
Google can ban a site with legal content if the site not follow the Google webmaster guideline, a site can be banned for example if it use hidden text or hidden link or use spam keyword and so on.
I dont think that G grant access to webmaster tool for a banned site.
At last if your site is banned you can submit a reinclusion request, but before you have to fix the problem that caused the ban of course.

The safest way is to create Google Webmasters account and look at the sitemaps. If a site is deindexed it WILL tell you. It will also give you the option to REINCLUDE it, assuming the reason it was banned in the first place was fixed.
