    Hmmm,

Google doesn't ban sites because their 'crappy' per se.. Its not the worlds authority on whats crappy and whats not!

Your site could be blacklisted because maybe it was SPAM, or your content is just a rip off of videos from YouTube (now owned by Google).

I've a video site with unique content, not cloned content. But other sites that are copying content have been banned. Maybe its to do with a new algo that is checking content?

Ok, lets make a few things clear.

Its not banned because its MFA - Google search engine and Adsense are two different things. If you violate Adsense TOS you will net be banned from search engine.

Popups - Millions of sites use popups. Its not against Google SE TOS to use popups. You will not get banned for them.

Worthless ads - Its up to me to decide what i put on my website and not Google. Google will not ban you because of "worthless ads" as long as i don't break any of their rules. Otherwise they would have been sued to shit by now.

Dupe content - They only used videos. Millions of websites embed videos from other sites. Dupe content banns usually take place when you copy 90% or more of the website including the text.

Youtube videos stealing - Youtube wants other sites to display their videos. Hence the embed codes right by the video. You can not get banned for that. Yet again, Youtube and Google SE are two different things.

Good thing that google had banned those kind of sites. I hope that google will wipe out those annoying sites. Plus those sites that offers fake content. For example when you click a link in their site, it will direct you to another site full of adsense.

Also could be because of this:
"We've recently updated our Terms of Use to clarify what kinds of uses of the website and the YouTube Embeddable Player are permitted. We don't want to discourage you from putting the occasional YouTube video in your blog to comment on it or show your readers a video you like, even if you have general purpose ads somewhere on your blog. We will, however, enforce our Terms of Use against, say, a website that does nothing more than aggregate a bunch of embedded YouTube videos and intentionally tries to generate ad revenue from them."
