Google ban, for how long?

Recently, by mistake (really), I have duplicated some content on the site on my friend's site. So the number of pages almost doubled, going from 120 to 220.

Until I noticed the mistake I made, Google have already pulled out the site from SERPS. I corrected the problem and added canonical url to each page, even redirected from new fake pages with 301.
It's been a month and still not in SERPS. What do I need to do to make this right?

What you can do is "Request reconsideration of your site" with Google - https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration

Read these other 2 pages for more information :

The site is still in Google index, so should I submit for reconsideration in this case too? Only banned from SERPS.

If it is still indexed, then dont worry and add more unique content and do link building as well.
Im sure you willl get your serps back.

Google and major search engine launch a canonical meta tag if your page is duplicate then clearly mention every pages in which pages copy the content from another Pages.

    Thanx

I had this happen once, it took 3 months before my site reappeared in SERPS.
