I'm in the market of buying a domain recently. I used "digpagerank" and it appears the PR is fair and real.

Now what else do I need to check as far as the domain isn't "bad"? Is there any way check this domain isn't "banned"?

Also, how do I check it has strong links or not?

Sorry if i posted in a wrong section

Yes, you can use backlinkwatch.com to have an overview of the backlinks.

You do not need to worry if the domain is banned :) You can always send Google a reinclusion request stating you are the new owner of the domain and have done your best to make sure that the site conforms to the guidelines :)

If the site is banned, it won't be listed in Google at all.

Just go to Google & search site:domainname.com or site:www.domainname.com & if you see anything listed, the site isn't banned.

And yes, you can always apply for reinclusion if it has been banned. So not a big deal ~

you can search the indexed pages of on google.

if it has indexed pages, that means it's not banned from google
