    Hi

    Does anyone know:

    1. How to check if, for example this real estate website is banned from Google Search Results or not?

    2. How to check if a website is banned from Google Search Results for some specific keyword?
For example, how to check if http://www.site4re.com/view is or is not banned for a keyword "real estate design / software"?

    3. When this Page Rank's Update is gonna be finished?

I have read site is not banned if you do a search for the domain and find it listed.

New sites play the now you see me now you don't game. I believe one of the sites for checking the datacenters now has over 70 different datacenters indexed. The centers are not in sync so you may be indexed on one datacenter and not the other. Over time all datacenters tend to pick up new sites until you get to point you will be found on all of them. Then another problem you may encounter is when datacenters shuffle their data, many times they go back to an old cached copy of the date which existed before you were indexed. Have patience and all will smooth out.

    Good luck.

I had no idea a site could be banned for a certain keyword, sounds a big dodgie to me.

    God knows.

Yea I know that resource digital1, thanks.
But it doesn't answer the second question :)

And believe me, google does exactly that, it can ban some website for specific keyword.

I can see what you mean in question 2.

I have a site that ranks well for all keywords/phrases.....except one.
All the data points to the fact that it should be up there near the top but it isn't.I have been racking my brains as to why for a week or two now but can't come up with an answer.

    Yup.
Google has a lot of algorithms that a website should go through before being included in search results at all.

Well maintaining high ranking for a competitive keyword is not an easy task. You will be droped from the SERPS for the a specific keyword if you fail to meet the competition. Google bans websites not specific keywords as far as I know.

Everytime you loose your ranking for a specific keyeord don't call it google ban ;)

You can always check your ranking from http://googlerankings.com/positiontracking/
