    You can speedup this process by submitting Sitemap
    but still it takes around 20-25 days

    Many tools out there but the problem is we don't really know how accurate it is.

    Why bother? Build and forget. It costs you the time it takes to be worry about something you shouldnt be worrying about. Link building is an ongoing task. Find yourself some reputable lists where the communities maintaining the lists do all the checking you need done.

    In Webmaster Tools updates once a month.
    My Webmaster Tools is now showing backlinks from August. (the latest backlink is from august 27)

    yeah now i see the links too, but it seems i got penalized somehow, i dropped in traffic ffs.
