Google backlinks

Does Google typically update their backlink count at the end of every month, or just before a PR update every 3 months (give or take)?

 

Hi there Robert. Well,base from Search Engine Roundtable, for some Google data centers, yes, they are updating. 64.233.187.104 and 64.233.187.99 are the data centers documented with the updated back links.

I've just subscribed to Google Webmaster Center which now allows website owners to get a more accurate measure of their backlinks.I suggest, you should also try this one.

 

yeah, I know about that, I have all sites in my Google webmaster account.

backlinks were updated at the end of April, this I know for sure, but I want to know if they are updated at the end of every month, or only before PR updates?

 

I always thought that it was just before the PR update. I could be wrong though

 

I've definitely seen them updated more often than PR, once a month sounds right.

The crawl rate statistics just got updated in my account.

Google shows very few backlinks / yahoo shows like 95%

you guys are not reading the thread...I am asking if Google updates their backlink count every month or only before PR updates...someone has to know this.

 

I personally think that google upgrade the links every single month (in the end of it), cuz before the PR upgrade I have 29, after that 40, and now in the beginning of this month they are 42. So I think that the question should me how many time does google upgrade the link in a single month?

If some one knows more, let's share with us, I am watching the process every week, so if there is more links found by google this month, I will let you know. But I has a chance to me more then one time a month.
