Google Backlinks vs Yahoo Backlinks

I was just using some tool online to check the backlinks to my site. and I found that it is

Google : 150
Yahoo 350,000+

how can there be such a difference?

 

Google only shows a sample, yahoo shows all of them. They both index all your pages though.

 

Yeah , somehow google had 75000 pages indexed.. when i only have about 5000 page site... who knows =]

 

google only updates it showing backlinks every PR update. This doesnt mean you wont have google backlinks, It just means that google hasnt told you yet. If that makes sense

 

Google only show quality backlinks and update number of backlinks every three months.

 

if Yahoo knows about your backlinks, belive me Google also know

 

Real (total) number of external backlinks can be found in yahoo by "linkdomain:www.domain.com -site:www.domain.com"

Google and MSN shows a sample of the backlinks they know of.

mmm for me no, Google updated my backlinks a week ago, and nothing about PR, the next PR should be in April

Why donot you use "www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/" link to find out the number of links to ur site with indivisual cached pages in google.
