Google Backlinks Updates on the Toolbar

Hello All:

I was wondering how often the "backlinks" lookup is updated with the Google Toolbar?

The number of backlinks that I check on some of our sites seems to stay constant and rarely change.

Just a curiosity...

 

You are talking about the link operator right?

Link operator dont show many back links, I have 8000+ back links in webmaster tools, and only 33 when using link operator.

 

So what is a good indicator of how many backlinks you have in Google? How do you figure this out?

By the tools you can see your site stats not only back links but also your site chache, similar, info etc. And you can verify your site for tracking your sites error. You can make a sitemap also from this tool. Many options are here for your site optimisation.

 

You can try Yahoo with the same link command. It's not perfect but at least it is better than what is given by Google.

 

yahoo is good for checking backlinks....
