google backlinks say 0 ? ? ?

    here are my sites stats . . . i dont get it . . . oh yeah and the site is a PR 1

    Google Banklinks: 0
    Yahoo Banklinks: 568
    AltaVista Banklinks: 542
    Alltheweb Backlinks: 509
    Domain Age: Oct 21, 2006

    how come google or how could google not read any backlinks ?

    Google is not renowned for showing all (or any) backlinks, use their webmaster tools and see what backlinks show up in there for your site.

    The reliable Backlink checker is the Yahoo.
    Google's is not good.
    It's very slow to show you things.

    I was under the impression that google only showed the sites with a higher reputation. For instance I see the backlinks listed in my DP signature, but not links from lesser sites.

    In some condition google slow to update data. My site have more than 300 backlink in yahoo, but google just identified about 10 backlink.
