Hello all, From what I understand, Google doesn't like run of site links. Yet, when I look at my competitor's Google Backlinks, all of the pages listed are interior pages of sites that have site-wide links. For example: Competitor designs site for client and slaps their link on the bottom of every page of the site. Google indexes the site and adds one of the interior pages of the site as a Google Backlink. I only link back on the client's homepage. (no Google BLs for me) Is there something I missed? Bad luck? What do you think?
are you using link: to find your backlinks? Or webmaster tools? If you are using link: Google wont show you everything...Try Link: into google. Also....I have had luck with links at bottom of our sites.
