I have a serious problem, I have a site thats been around for about 2 years now and I've tried my best to keep up with my page rank. 4 months ago I was in the Alexa top 100,000k with a pr 3 over the past few months my hits have declined greatly. Today I realized the google is not storing any backlinks at all, take a look:

    URL mysiteprofile.com

    Google PageRankâ„¢ 4 (4/10)

    Alexa Traffic Rank 3,901,632

    Listed at DMOZ? NO

    Google Backlinks 0

    Yahoo! Backlinks 1,620

    MSN/Live Backlinks 0

    Altavista Backlinks 1,870
    AllTheWeb Backlinks 1,840
    Average Backlinks 1,066

    Total Backlinks 5,330

Can someone please tell me wtf is going on with my site. I have a sitemap I have robots.txt
what could the reason that google isn't storing my info. Someone please help me! I want my site to do better. I'll do link exchanges with anyone interested but I need to figure out this google issue pronto. I'm loosing mass traffic because of this.

I wonder why the uk database is picking up a few of my links but the US db isn't. The yahoo directory lists over a thousand I just verified it. What should I do for the google US listings, has anyone had this issue before?

Google usually does not list many backlinks. They exist in the system, they just don't show them with the link command. Sign up with google webmaster tools to see a better idea of your google backlinks.

dspohn23 is right. Google link: command is of no use. If yahoo is showing your back link, rest assured Google also has them, its just they don't show.

Whew! I was worried that I some how managed to get my self kicked out of googles back-link listings, Thanks for the feedback dspohn23 and tharani. But now I really feel crappy because that means that my traffic has gone down legitimately and not by some google fluke.. Damn!

    My dear friend

Google is not the only tools to check the backlinks but there are many which shows the backlinks with anchor text. Google only shows sample backlinks with link command and in google webmaster you can get actual.

Further you can use following best of best tool to check backlinks with anchor text
