Google backlinks gone

    I have been in the co-op for months and I had many back links showing up for Google but they are now all gone.

    I was curious so I started checking other sites in the co-op's back links and I it appears I am not alone!

    Has Google filtered out the links because they figured out they are not permanent?

    Since Google only shows a smattering of backlinks am not sure that is a good way to judge. Watching SERPs is probably better way to go.

    Even using Google's link: query, I can see a lot of Coop links to my sites...
