    Hi all,

I know there was a recent Google backlink update. Around that time, my backlinks count went from 120 to zero.

The site has about 2600 backlinks according to MSN and that seems about right.

It's a well-established site (since May 2000) and is pretty well-traveled, getting about 1000 or so visitors per day. Its purpose is both to provide information & sell items related to that information. (More pages are devoted to information than selling.) Interior pages are often linked to, as well. The site is updated often and several new pages are added every month.

Despite the fairly large number of incoming links, a search on link:www.example.com (I don't particularly want to share the domain name here) returns 0 links to the site. I know Google doesn't report them all, but why would they show none at all?

Would love to hear your ideas!

    thanks!
    Denise

Google is always showing a small snapshot of the cached links, this does not mean he lost your links, I think there is nothing to worry about.
