Em mm , maybe if this was totally true, they would stop using DOMZ to get results.

unbiased and unmanipulated are two different things. All search engine SERPs are biased, otherwise, we'll see the same SERP and we need only one search engine.
What search engines want is their "biased" SERPs aren't manipulated by SEO. :)

Boy, that's the truth. It's very interesting for me to compare and contrast MSN vs Yahoo! versus Google versus Teoma for the same phrase. It's amazing the amount of variation among the search engines.

Backlinks have been in flux since at least March 23rd, just keep content/link-building.

Seasons have changed. I've mowed my lawn several times, pruned trees, put winter closes up in place of shorts and short sleeve shirts.

Now if only google would update :)

Google updates every day... that's how the SERPs change so often.

Wish they'd settle down. Looking at the number of pages they've indexed, we're going between X and 20X. Sometimes we see 10X but rarely. I'm assuming they're doing some big algo changes and monitoring the results. Not because of us, we're just getting swept along with the tide.

    I'm getting a little seasick, though. We're UP! We're down. We're UP! We're down.

I track around 10 sites (backlinks) by digitalpoint tool. Today only 1 of them has changed, and it shows 255 backlinks instead of 1000 something. Is this possible?
I've manually checked many links, and a sudden decrease like that impossible. I know google backlinks data is not accurate at all, but any ideas why I see the big difference?

After this post, I've refreshed at DP tool, and it's back to normal. It may be a temporary glitch.
so please ignore my previous post.

Onestop, same thing happenned to me today and it scared me a lot.
I was at 181 BL and then i was at 56 BL even if i built some new links wich should add to previous ones.

I'm happy now to see that it was something temporary. :)

I'm seeing new backlinks not showing up in the backlink tool but showing up w/ simply typing link:www.domainname.com with the mcdar multiple datacenter tool on most DCs - at least on one of my sites that was started in jan and sandboxed back in feb.
