Google are seemingly trying to make updates more frequent/gradual /perpetual/responsive than they have been in the past. However, it could also simply be the case of other data centers catching up on a recent backlink update.

I'm seeing some differences on gfe-au...main thing of note is that I dropped from #1 to #9 for my main money phrase, upon checking allinanchor: for the phrase, the site went AWOL. However, appending &filter=0 on that allinanchor: search brings the site back to the second page -- that's the first time I've seen it affect the allinanchor in such a way. Anyone else seeing something similar? Cygnus
With all this "I see movement on my site"... I'm beginning to think Google has changed the way they do PR and backlinks updates... what if it's different for every site, or groups of sites.. hehe.. wouldn't that be funny. They probably keep a count of forum threads that contain the words backlink or pr and update ... and laugh.
I've been starting to promote my site, and just noticed an increase in links. They seem to update the index very frequently, but backlinks only occassionally... pagerank too.... Interesting surprise.
