Well, i hope that you are right, i could do with that right now and get a better/worse rank.

I am looking to get a better rank, and i always like updates...

Do you mean that they are going through websites looking for new back links.?

Backlinks are updated all the time,the PR update is a differant issue.

no backlinks not update every time, dont forget pr will be calculated on basis of backlinks

it's definitly happening. I'm seeing massive traffic increases to the sites promoted in my autoblogging farms.

I think Google used to update backlink regularly and major backlink update usually done when PR update is around the corner.

I see my backlinks change regularly, although it does appear that there are spurts where there are more changes than at other times.

Are you guys talking about the webmaster tools links list or link:yoursite.com links? My webmaster tools havent updated but my link:yoursite.com added a couple of links.
