Anyone seen a Google authority site with - hyphen? Etc; gold-fish.com, online-casinos.com, I'm planning to register a new domain and make it into an authority site. So i was wondering if anyone seen any of authority sites which are hyphenated. I want to see for myself if it would affect G SEPRs....
Frankly speaking, I would never register domains with numbers and hypens in them. They just don't make any sense. In other words, you increasing the chances of your visitors to land on the similar domain without hypens. Now take yourself for example. How many websites you visit with hypens in them? And if you do, do you type them correctly? I would say that you put more focus on building your brand name.
http://www.city-data.com PR7 & http://www.city-data.com/forum/ PR6 versus citydata.com PR4 (parked page) http://j-walkblog.com/ (PR6) versus jwalkblog.com PR0 parked page Content & a keyworded domain will make your site. Hyphens are less important.
