Wow, for the first time in 7.5 years Google misses a payment!

They do, however, recognize the problem in a sort of a muted fashion - in a response to a post in Google Help forums and not as a system-wide announcement. I wish they would have just come out back around October 13th, when the missing September 2011 stats issue was first recognized, and say something about it.

I'm assuming Google is still loaded with money up to their eyebrows and this is not an attempt to cook their books for the fiscal 2011 (besides, unlike other US corporations, I think Google's fiscal year ends in December). So, I'm wondering what might have been the issue that is so incredibly complex that it has not been resolved in three weeks (assuming they did not know about it even before the publishers did). They say it's a reporting issue linked to the change to the new AdSense interface. However, I've changed much earlier, in early summer, I think. They say it affects a small number of publishers but then why does it take so long to resolve?

So, how small is the number of publishers affected by this September 2011 debacle? Post here if you've been affected, let's get a feel of the scope of the issue!

Also, has anyone with September 2011 finalized earnings showing $0 since October 10th, 2011 received the payment?
