Google said that they are very excited to announce that they have reached an agreement with Twitter to include their updates in their search results source: Google will include Twitter updates in their search results
Hello... It was just a matter of time till they figured it out... (that twitter is instant news) Not sure if thats good for webmasters as twitter is strong and the results will surly be on the first pages for there keywords pushing sites down. (if i understand correctly) laterz malcolm
This is absolutely awful news. Now the search engines will be full of more spammy garbage... If this keeps up it won't be hard for a new search engine to get market share. I want to search for pages not tweets.
Exactly, It's bad enough we get viagra pills and get rich quick spam in our email but to have that crap clog up the search engine will make it even worse and Google won't be able to monitor and control all the tweets.
This should be very big for both google and twitter. This might actually help to monetize and commercialize twitter which so far has a very shaky business model.
And, I we know in the twitter, almost all the content is the link to the other ... now we will enjoy the spamming garbage ... and I think it's very good for the spammer (I menas marketer) like me ;P. The keyword now is : TWITTER... how many follower you have, and how loyal they are. So, the most important thing is, who are we ... that's the brand ... is it alright?
I'm pretty sure you'll have to enter a certain keyword to access the data for the Tweets from Twitter. I'm not sure how this will work out as I've seen too many spamming Tweets. We'll have to wait and see, I'm just hoping for the best. Yugo,
lmao! yea everyone on twitter is an "instant marketer" ... lol Grandma & Grandpa also in the mix and promoting there affiliate links I get so many emails asking me to visit a link, or take a test or gain a gazillion followers with this tool stuff that i dont bother to even look anymore i just delete (and no option to block direct email messages) im hoping that google will in fact give just a link that says see relevant tweets or something so that the results dont turn to garbage. laterz malcolm

The "challenges" under Search Engines have become even more heated yesterday, after the agreements developed by Microsoft and Google. Source: Twitter: two strategic agreements with Microsoft and Google
It'll be decent (depending how SE's implement it) for pop culture, trends, weather, events ... instant stuff that happens... what will be interesting to see though, is which SE will do it better... oh and it will also be interesting to see how much more spammy twitter gets...
