Hello Guys On 25 Feb 2011 Google announced that it had made a "big algorithmic improvement" that, unlike other changes, could be noticeable to its users. The changes will take place initially in the U.S. and roll out in other locations over time. I don't think Google should do this. They call sites like ehow "low-quality" and content farms "garbage." I don't think so. Often times ehow has high quality how to information. This is going to make GOogle's search engine worse.
But i guess we'll just have to see if this improve's Google's search results. Or else, other search engines will soon catch up.
Google + web of trust is still the best tool out there. Every time I accidentally use bing to try find something in IE, i always get disappointing results.
ehow was not affected. here is a list of affected sites. EZA is dead. Matt Cutts is DICK. http://searchengineland.com/who-lost-in-googles-farmer-algorithm-change-66173
I too think we'll just have to see if this improve's Google's search results. Or else, other search engines will soon catch up.
Thanks for the heads up, I agree that we will just have to wait and see how it works out. What else can you do?
Yes i have read about it...Google Caffine............Instant Search Updates.........Google provide instant search result....improve the searching and ranking of websites..
Does this mean if your rank relies on the pages that suffered losses as mentioned in the article that your page rank will drop? It is difficult to quantify what it means? thanks
I notice that some of big sites like amazon lost traffic big time and some lost there KWs. So there is not a doubt that google algorithmic change did not make any difference.
