I haven't noticed any major difference from US traffic to my sites as of yet, so maybe I'm not part of the 11.8% of sites that are being impacted.

So who's been hammered and who's been rewarded?

Just hope that kind of restriction impacts those very controversial keywords or queries that so many sites spammed just to get rankings and take advantage of being on the keywords' popularity.

Strangely one of my authority site got a huge spike of traffic and the other micro sites remain same, where they were few days ago.
Looks like it will hammer auto blogs and syndication based sites.

I did notice an alert in the "Intelligence" section of Analytics, that the "Avg. Time on Site " for USA visitors had increased by 11%. Have now set up a custom alert so I can keep an eye on it.

Once this rolls out globally, the impact will really start to show. 11.8% is a "massive" change.

    Cheers

It's only for US now, may come in month or 2 for general public.

That's not much of a huge drop though, don't you think?

I have not noticed a change in where my site is for stuff. Then again I don't check very often, but I checked recently and we are pretty much where we have been for almost a year.

Content farms? I may sound stupid but what is that? Sounds like a good thing if it produces content?

The traffic can decrease by a factor of 3 or more for this drop, so it can be significant.
