Hello, Today I was at school Googling like I always do and the Google logo was the normal new style logo, but when i got home i went to http://google.com/ and saw a animated logo. It surprised me at first, so i Googled "Google Animated Logo" and i read a bit of news or blog post and some people said In case your not in the US you can view it here http://www.sharemonsters.net/misc/google.com/ What do you think?, Personal I like it and think its pretty nice but I would like to know what its for.
I also love it. In fact it stands out quite prominently over the rest of such endevours. They surely seem to be celebrating their own birthday... with lot of zeal! Regards, RightMan
Some people think its because they are celebrating when they opened their doors, which was September 7th, but the company actually started on September 4th, which is when they usually celebrate it. However, it is more likely that they are celebrating the birthday of the Java technology.
Yes, and you can't even save it It is flash file I think, I don't know how to save such animations. Anybody knows?
I saw this too and way wondering what was going on. It is pretty cool but I too would like to know what the purpose is.
I think that the logo was fun and gave me a nice little break from my day. Apparantly I'm not the only one. I was on cnn.com earlier and saw someone had tweeted.. "One day Google is going to take over the world. And we won't even know because we'll be too busy playing with their logo to notice." -MojoRojo
