    Hi,
About to launch a couple of wp blogs and i was wondering the best way to do this that will maximise the google aspect?

    - should i host on the offical wp server? or buy my own space on my own server? whats best for google?

    - is there any other submission tricks and tips i should use to push my wp blog in google?

    thanks

Google would probably get you indexed quicker if you're at wordpress.com but if you;re wanting to sell stuff, include advertising on the site or use any blackhat tricks, those aren't allowed at wp.com and you're going to have to go with hosting elsewhere.

Yeah, I'd host on WP and let them take credit for your hard work :)
With hosting at under $5 per month and a domain for $10 or whatever it is today I would vote for investing in my business, blog, or whatever. Then it is yours....

    Good Luck

A cheap web hosting company you can trust is 2iphosting.com --- $25 ONE TIME PAYMENT for a package enough to have 1,000 pages and $199 ONE TIME PAYMENT for unlimited everything (# Unlimited Disk Space # Unlimited Websites/Domains can be hosted under one account # Unlimited Transfer/Bandwidth # Unlimited FTP Accounts # Unlimited Email Accounts). Personally I've been using the $199 package with 5 WP blogs and is working great, also amazing support with support tickets.

    GOOD LUCK

you should host it on a .COM on your own hosting account, it will add to the credibility of the blog, it's also easier for users to remember a .com, as for tricks, it is a blog so what you need is high quality and appealing content + getting to know and become a member in your community / niche, to do so you should comment and interact and get to know other bloggers in your niche.

I use GoDaddy's Deluxe Linux/Apache hosting.. I can host unlimited number of domains and have more bandwidth than I'll use for a while (with dedicated IP). I think I pay $8-9/month. Their customer support sucked years ago, but it is actually excellent now IMO... 24x7 phone support. I've always hung up with the answer to my question or whatever I needed.
