Is there any evidence that Google ranks TLDs (Top Level Domains) differently? If the same content was only on a .com, or .net, or .org, or .tw, or .uk, or .tv, or .at - is there any evidence or suspicions that Google ranks them differently depending on the TLD? Corwin
TLDs like .com net org info biz have more weight than a ccTLD at Google.com If you go for Google.co.uk, then .co.uk will have more weight than .com
Would agree with the above. domain name is not everything. write good content and SEO your site. I would use a .com or .net rather than one of the others. Use country domains for country specific queries they carry more weight as they will tend to have more links from that country.
