So? I only want know what other people think about this one. So again, someone stab me!

OKAY! So everybody knows what Lorem Ipsum Dolor is? right? If not, then you can educate yourself by reading this Wiki entry about it.

All set? okay here goes, Google doesn't highly recommend duplicate content right? If content is king (as what others usually say) then what happens to web site owners or developers who use Lorem Ipsum Dolor as their dummy texts when doing stuff on their website? (This excludes new websites as they are still new and most likely, not yet indexed.)

    OR

Old and existing websites that has it on their websites? I did a little content search in Google and this is what I found.

Will big 'G' penalise this? or do they exclude Lorem Ipsum Dolor as duplicate content? :D

Boredom has then again struck me today.

Duplicate content will not penalize you for your other pages. If that was the case 99% of websites would lose ranking and/or be de-indexed. The only "negative" will be the inability to rank for the duplicate content IF the sites that have the same content have higher authority (aka more PR/backlinks) and more anchor text back links for the phrase. Essentially you could rank for random words, but would have to be an authority site, with lots of backlinks. In the grand scheme of thing duplicate content is meaningless as it's a wash, doesn't help or hurt you.

The way I understand what you're trying to say is that it is not a penalty but still somewhat a penalty because duplicate content on your website grants you inability to rank? for target specific pages? Also, I still don't think that it is just PR and backlinks that counts as authority but having the authority of post age (not domain age because that is also another story). Still, thanks for your answer.

Duplicate content on a site is not grounds for action on that site unless it appears that the intent of the duplicate content is to be deceptive and manipulate search engine results.

I suspect that it won't impact the site on a level that matters.
