Google and sub/virtual domains

Can anyone answer this for me?

First, does Google see a TRUE subdomain the same way it seems a primary domain? Is a sub just as able to get indexed and ranked?

Second, same question with a masked forwarding domain. If I simply forward from a URL to a folder on my server, does Google "see" it as a unique domain?

Finally, virtual domains - where I set up hosting for a domain under anther domain's hosting account. So again, I have a domain, but the files live in a folder on my host server?

There are probably answers to these questions here somewhere, but I can't find them.

    Thanks for the help!
