Google And sitemaps

    Hi

    First time poster - Hope this is the right forum.

    We have uploaded a sitemap to google and verifed and all seems well but the results show 38 Unreachable URL's but these URL's are not the one's in the sitemap.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    get more quality links, this will be useful and do a lil tricks..

    Google doesn't only spider your sitemap. It also spiders your site, and any links to your site. I even have evidence that it spiders pages on your site that don't have any links (even from you). So the question is: are any of your links broken? Do a link: search for those URL's to make sure you didn't link to any of these non-existing pages. And make sure you have a good 404 redirect so visitors that get to non-existing pages still get to see your site.
