    Hi all,

Maybe some of you have a clue before i decide to go ahead with this.

One of my sites is indexed proparly and is getting decent amount of hits one week after launch.

BUT i want to install a redirect script to the site.

My question is, how will this affect my rankings at mr. G as there is ofcourse no botfood around to crawl...

    Hoping for some good answers.

    Thanks

The redirect script is something which I would not be installing without a no-google robots.txt. Google might still miss-index your stuff and put other sites in with your (redirect) links. Just a hint.

What do you want to do exactly? You make no sense saying "a redirect script", redirecting can be done server side with .htaccess

301 redirect is a good way to transfer all of the weight of your site.

    Hi all,

Thank you for the replies, really appreciate it.

Ok 301 redirect is the thing. Obviously it tells the bot that the site is permanently moved.

    Thanks!
