Google and organic traffic percentage?

Even though I rank highly in the SERPs for Yahoo and Google for my preferred keywords, 90+ percent of the traffic comes from Google.

Yahoo is less than 10% with MSN (Live) taking up about 1-5% per month.

What is your percentage from Google?

That's because most people use Google.

But not 90+ percent that I know of. I believe it's more like a 30/70 ratio (Yahoo/Google). In a recent poll I saw that Yahoo had a higher approval rating over Google, so I am pretty surprised by the lack of traffic from Yahoo.

Really? I wonder if it's the difference in the demographic of the people that visit our sites. Most of mine would be 30's+.

I'm happy to say that very, very little traffic comes from AOL. :)

I have 90 % from google and 10% from yahoo and msn and aol. Google sends more traffic and always did. Yahoo has more people on it but that might be email and other sites.

I've seen similar ratios for search engine usage as a whole. However, I've read some articles infering the types of things people search for predicates which search engines is used. For instance, maybe more women use Yahoo when looking for cosmetics as opposed to more men using Google when searching for cars. It's kind of like a preference of the types of returns you want when looking for "whatever". At least that's been my findings on the matter...

Good point! I wonder if the people giving Yahoo the positive vote were looking at it for the whole package (email, shopping, etc), while most people view Google as "just a search engine". Most people doing searches use Google, while Yahoo is the other stuff.
