Google and html comments

    Will it index it or does it ignore it?

    Google doesn't show your codings. It only shows content.

    comment is not considered by google i have put my alternate metadata in comment in blog but still able to give me the perfect metadata which is out of commnet..

    Answer is simply no. Google is smart enough to differentiate between content and html syntax.

    They may look at them, but it doesn't appear that words in comment tags will be returned as a match for a search.
