I have a lot of ebooks on my computer, and i was planning to build a site to put them all online. I'm not too familiars with laws and google rules, so i would just like to know if it's legal to do this.... Usually you can't copy/paste PDF files so i guess it should be ok, but say I put the text in a html file is this ok with google ???
Yes, this is fine with Google. They aren't law enforcement officials, however; this may not fly with the e-book authors. I suggest you make a link to "report this book" or something similar. scribd has a lot of ebooks available though, so just try it out and see.
yu can market ebooks but make sure you have distribution rights. otherwise sooner or later you will be in trouble. if not by google, then by someone else who will report you to google, maybe the ebook author will report you to google. so better be carefull
i think it shouldn't be a problem if you have the resell right or distribution right and the authorization from the author.
Yes, I advertise ebooks all the time, but only when I have resell rights. You don't want to violate any copyright laws. It's worth the peace-of-mind to only sell ebooks legally. Otherwise, you have to live in constant fear of getting caught.
What about clickbank.com it's all about electronic products and most of the affiliates make sales with adwords help... Anyway, i think i worth checking out..
