I have written several reviews offline. I would like to post it several places online such as blogs, Squidoo, article submissions, my website, etc. I know search engines like Google will penalize or will rank down urls for duplicate content. What is the best way to get more views?
It will not punish you for duplicated content, it will filter the duplicated content. So, after all, you will not get as much juice as you might think.
You should try to avoid duplicate content by editting some sentences or words. By this your content will cannot be filtered that well, but still filtered. So, the best thing to do is make new contents for each blogs or websites.
Friend, if you have too much of articles or content, then you may use the premium service of copyscape which is one of the most trusted services out there. And if you are planning to post duplicate content for the SEO benefit of your own site, then I would advise you not to. Sooner or later, Google would penalize you for this and sometimes, they may de-index. So this is not a good way to go with. But the only places were duplicate content shows minimum risk is in authority sites like hubpages, etc. Hubpages being well established may not be easily prone to google slaps. And still a lot of people use duplicate content and spun content (hundreds every month) to send backlinks to the hubs. But hubpages (being more active) is intelligent enough to remove duplicate content if you post them. Dear friend, my conclusion is not to go for content duplication since it is not a white hat way of doing things in SEO as well as in the general perspective. OR you can make each of your reviews unique by changing the style and words. Use a essay style in one review. Next time, if you want to post it again on a different place, use bullets and numberings to describe. In this way, you can churn out new reviews from the existing ones and with less time.
What really you are asking here? you would like to ask you publish duplicate content on your website or you published same content on different sites.
Re-write them. It's just not worth the duplicate content filtering of Google. Make the post worth it and pass as much link juice as you can.
You will not be penalized for duplicate content. You pages simply will not be indexed in google. I would suggest that you re-write them.
I'm not sure what your question is? You can't recycle content to post on multiple sites if that's what you're asking. I've never used them, but some marketers swear by article spinners that can spin an article maybe 10 times into fresh versions.
Dear 7dzine, actually I was trying to explain the situation of using duplicate content and its potential risk in the future, that's all. I just used Hubpages.com as an example where there is minimum risk for using duplicate content (not posting them directly in hubpages but in article directories to send backlinks to hubs). That's what I meant. I was not asking anything but just trying to explain "Google and Duplicate Content" Question.. Anyway, thanks for asking.
Oh, no ,I think you should change any content when you attach it in many places, it is not so good for google spider with the same articl.
