Google and Alexa - weird!

    which google?

    google.com has PR10, unless you looking at google.com.my, google.com.fr etc..

    alexa is kinda crap. :)

    No alexa rank of http://www.google.com.ph/ because alexa mainly tracks US traffic as it has the most installations of its toolbars in the US and this particular site must not be receiving any traffic at all from the coputers that have the alexa toolbar!

    Yeah... it's kinda strange how they run things. Been viewing their stuff for the past few years... I've got it down now, but they need to come up with a better plan for those people out there running some good businesses online.

    its ranking is 169. Alexa had an update today my sites were unranked for a few minutes as well.

    I see... I guess they don't feel the need or just don't want to show their own ranking.:( I don't know, that is pretty stupid and I've never noticed that before. Good looking out.:)

    Alexa does not rank themselves because it would be too embarrassing for them to show they had a rank in the millions ;)

    Actually, they would naturally be ONE as their rank is based on their toolbar... taking themselves out of their own mix, actually makes sense. Google should likely do it as well, but then again, PR is based on numbers alone and the 10 you see there is actually real...

    There are different google sites with different PR.

    I agree with Qryztufre I think it would be embarrassing for alexa to rank themselves among the most popular websites on the net.
