I've noticed when looking through the adbrite directory that adbrite ads are being served on proxy sites (sites that let visitors use proxies to view other sites/or sites that give ip addresses of proxies) and these sites have some of the best stats! Is adbrite stupid, or are these sites against adbrite's tos like i think someone tried to say in another thread? does google or adsense prevent sites posting proxy information from using their ads on their sites? you would think that they would. i would guess that all of the clicks would be from proxies.
I see alot of proxy sites with both ads. I do think it is against the terms but they do not stop the ads on the sites. Just like adsense is not allowed on adult sites but they allow adult sites to advertise makes no sense.
I think it is also proxy sites tend to be poor quality traffic from fraud-prone countries. I've seen many proxy sites for sale with almost all was from korea or china some eastern block. Advertisers don't want them, google complies.
