As far as I know there is no invitation for analytics.
I just checked it and it says that at the moment they don't take new registration

If you can find someone to set u up on his/her account with your site, - that is possible. The account-holder can create a log in for you and give you access to your sites statistic. But don't forget that the account holder has full access to your statistics as well.

If you are spending money in adwords you will get a invite.

I setup a friends (I would call them a client if they were paying me lol) and they got analytics within 1 week of there campaign.

I haven't gotten an invite yet, and I'm an adwords publisher (not a big budget though). Been waiting about a month now.

I registered for an account months ago and forgot all about it until I read this thread.I went to see if it was still there yesterday and lo and behold it's still operational:)
I'm now testing on one of my sites but it says "waiting for data" for the last 24hrs.

I think you are allowed to have more than one "admin" per account but I don't know if you are allowed to share the account with other people. If you are you are welcome to share mine Matt.

You have to submit a little "application" to Google and then eventually THEY'LL send you an invitation. ;)

I got my new invite this last week, (didn't notice it until today because of all the submission reports from using Tuning ;) )

I was able to put the code in my adwords account and then it gave me the code to put in the site. Now to see if this is better than webtrends (pain in the rear with little support, except the last time had great response from customer service)

Well yeah, they usually do take a day because they need to monitor the traffic for the first day before they start showing data!
