Does anyone here use Google Analytics?

If so, in your experience is it pretty accurate?

    Hi ,
I use it and think its accurate. Im probably not using it to its fullest capability but check it regularly and love the report output to PDF for reporting to clients who prefer for me to provide them with stats...

    Cheers!

I use it. I don't know how accurate it is. It doesn't update in real time but what I like about it is that you can see full information on where traffic is coming from and its free which makes it the best around in my opinion.

I've been using 'Real Tracker.com' to do my stats, and after a few cross promoting agreements with sites fell through due to them saying they sent me x amount of people, and my stats showing they had sent me none,

I just started using Analytics and low and behold the sites I had accused of getting me none, not only had gotten visitors but pretty well the exact amounts they told me they had

Also I cross referenced some link traffic and found that Google Analytics was nearly spot on

So I think their stats are close to as good as you can get.

    What do you reckon?

I like all of Analytics' features, reporting and data exporting options. I am getting a little skeptical of their privacy policy though.

Well either Statcounter or Google Analytics is extremely inaccurate, because the numbers on each are not even close. Google's stats are wrapped in a prettier bow, but I'm starting to think their stats are as accurate as their "link: mysite.com" is.
