    but I am unable to do so -

    As far as i know Google is not allowing to install analytics in Blogs to install analytic you need to have a website so that you can also place ads in your Blog also.

    There's thing we call Search Engines. One of them is a very popular one named Google.

    Rather than posting your question on this forum, why don't you try typing that on a search bar and educate yourself.

    Saves you a LOT of time :)

    You need to install the code again,for this open your analytics account and then click on the "!" in front of blog url in status column if you unable to do this you can contact me again .I have many blog ,all have analytics code people are misleading you.

    Go to Editor and look for header.php. You can paste your analytics code before the </head> tag. Hope that helps

    Matt's right - you don't need a plug-in, just add the code to header - that's assuming that it's a blog on your own hosting, using WordPress as a CMS.

    If it's a WordPress hosted blog, you can use the wordpress.com.stats that they supply, but not a tracking package that uses javascript. I think sitemeter is one that could be used.
