Is it absolutely necessary to install google analytics on all your sites?

There are however some alternatives, such as Trace My IP Analytics, Get Clicky, Whos Amung Us, etc. But the best imo is Google Analytics.

 

i think its very necesarry, beacause with the google analytic we can know traffic, source, and from where visitor come to our website

Yes , you need to put analytics code each page of your site.

 

It depends on your traffic methods, if you are using just Twitter or FB, then it is not necessary, if you use SE traffic, then you definitely need it.

 

I think this is necessary ! for from here , u can get the free datas of your sites , then u can have a careful analytist for your sites . and u can make some useful plans for your sites !

I'm new to this too so will be checking out the features. I've used other hit counters and web stats before so hopefully won't be too diff to get my head around.

You don't have to use it for everypage. Just put in header of homepage. Of course, you will have info about other pages on website, cause whenever you load any page, your header will be loaded.

If your doing IM surely you need to do that. for Non-profit site, it's not necessary ! But if you do SEO for which technique you got traffic, so It's essential for all sites
