My understanding of bounce rate is people that come into your site, and then immediately leave (i.e. don't browse to other pages on your site). It might be timed too, but I'm not sure.
A bounce occurs when a web site visitor leaves a page or a site without visiting any other pages before a specified session-timeout occurs. More info at Bounce Rate
thanks for the link dairyman , i was thinking that it is increase in traffic and that is taken as bounce in traffic lol .
Bounce Rate is the rate that people come to your site and then leave instantly. If they leave within a few seconds - your bounce rate will be high. If they stick around it will be low. To get a good bounce rate - add lots of content.
Its rate of visitors staying in ur site. if more time less bounce rate. always less than 25% is better
Is bounce rate a timed thing? My bounce rate is around 50%... but it seems like I have never have one page view, and a 0% bounce rate.. this leads me to believe that they must view a second page.
